Lyric art, creations, musical theater, songs, chamber music, mixed arts and friendly meetings… This Once again this year the Saint-C&eac;ré promises to delight music and culture lovers. Since its creation in 1979, the summer event, in the heart of the Lot, has evolved and diversified, offering, year after year, a rich and eclectic program that attracts an ever-increasing audience.
All this, during the two weeks of the festival, which for the occasion invests in emblematic sites of Saint-Céré, such as the Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux, the Récollets church, the Saint-Pierre abbey or the Théâtre de l' Factory. The Saint-Céré festival program 2024
On the program of this 44th edition of the Saint-Céré festival, the opera Tosca by Puccini as we have seen; the creation at Saint-Céré of L'Histoire du soldat by Stravinsky, with Les Apaches and Didier Sandre of the Coédie-Française; Où I go at night based on Orpheus and Eurydice , mixing lyrical theater and pop music, or a film concert with the Percussions de Strasbourg.
