This is a unique project that was carried out last year by the students of the General and Adapted Vocational Education Section of the Aiguerelles College and their teacher, Mrs. Canzonieri. The students decided to colorize the Trinquat Bridge with the help of the artist Le D.

Collective work

During several meetings, the latter led a series of workshops with the students. This work took on a collective dimension, since each class designed a large collaborative poster representing the upcoming fresco. These posters will soon be displayed in the corridors of the college, testifying to everyone's involvement and enthusiasm.

Last November, the adventure took on another dimension when the students went under the Trinquat bridge to witness the creation of the work. They observed Le D at work, scrutinizing each step, from the initial sketch to the meticulous application of colors.

Visible under the Trinquat bridge

This fresco, now visible under the Trinquat bridge, is not only an artistic creation: it is the symbol of a successful collaboration between the students, their school, and a passionate artist. “We wanted the students to feel like they were part of the project, to understand that art can transform their environment while giving them a voice,” explained the teacher.
