White outfit, symbol of Wimbledon

It is the symbol of Wimbledon. To respect the aristocratic origins of tennis à At the end of the 19th century, and putting players on an equal footing, players were forced by the All England Club to play in white. Off-white or cream is prohibited. For colors, a single strip of 1 cm maximum on the edge of sleeves, shorts or skirts is authorized. In 2013, Roger Federer upset the All England Club with its white shoes which had orange soles.
