Investigation in progress

According to the Saint-Denis de La Réunion prosecutor's office contacted by Le Parisien, “an investigation is underway with the financial brigade”. The authorities are working to “identify the accounts where the funds are being used”. For now, “no suspect has been identified” according to information from Parisien.

Three men are said to be hiding behind it, Le Parisien explains: one in charge of relations with the victim, the second in charge of “creating false identities” and the third who would manage the money laundering and allow the scammers to withdraw the funds in cash.

According to Marwan Ouarab, the man would have made at least thirty victims by pretending to be Brad Pitt or Keanu Reeves.

Since its broadcast, the sequence has been removed from TF1 platforms, due to a wave of cyberbullying that Anne has suffered on social networks social.
