Founded in 2017 by Laurent Lefebvre and Sylvain Reynier, the start-up's mission is to improve relations between company management and their employees. To do this, it offers a complete digital solution for managing Social and Economic Committees (CSE), these bodies that replace the works council, set up in 2017 under the leadership of Emmanuel Macron.

The principle is simple. Rather than displaying employee benefits on a corridor wall or in a meeting room, employees can find them all in an easy-to-use application. The interface is not only practical for staff, but also for management, which has access to legal and accounting assistance.

Ticketing, gift vouchers, subsidies, etc. More than 300,000 offers ranging from sports to culture to vacations are listed on HelloCSE. Employees, for their part, can directly benefit from their dematerialized advantages via the application.

Big names among its clients

The HelloCSE platform has greatly benefited from the Covid-19 pandemic and the use of teleworking, highlighting the importance and effectiveness of digital technology in the daily lives of companies. Employee benefits representing a powerful means of retaining workers, the start-up quickly found a buyer.

It now has 4,000 clients, supporting nearly 600,000 employees. Among them are big names like Auchan, Décathlon, Axa, Apple, Crédit Agricole, Ubisoft and Ikea.

The start-up focuses on transparency

Thanks to its performance, HelloCSE has joined the 2023 class of the French Tech 120 (FT120), a program that selects the most successful and promising French start-ups. Last year, the company saw its turnover increase by 120% to reach 48 million euros.

HelloCSE also stands out for its transparency policy, which is unusual among start-ups. The company is thus one of the 16% of FT120 members to have published its accounts. A way of ” showing our customers and partners that we are a solid company, with an economic model and a financial base “, assures Laurent Lefebvre in an interview given to Échos.

Another particularity is that HelloCSE is self-financing, which gives it much more room to maneuver to establish its roadmap. It therefore intends to continue its investments to diversify its services. While an international deployment is not excluded, the start-up is currently focusing on the French market, whose CSEs are specific. In 2024, its growth is expected to increase by 65%.
