Why doesn't the Cybercab have a Tesla logo ? Elon Musk's answer

In October, Tesla finally unveiled its robotaxi, called Cybercab. This vehicle relies on autonomous driving and, unlike the cars transformed by Waymo, the Cybercab has neither a steering wheel nor pedals. In fact, it also does not have a Tesla logo. And if you are wondering why the brand logo is missing, here is the answer: in essence, Elon Musk believes that the design is so unique that the vehicle does not need a logo to be recognized.

Recently, Musk responded to an Internet user who explained on the social network X that, like the Cybetruck, the Cybercab does not have a Tesla logo. “Because when you’re this bold, the design speaks for itself,”, the post reads. In response, Musk wrote: “If the product is special enough, no logo is needed.”

Tens of millions of self-driving Teslas

It’s unclear when the Cybercab will be released, but right now, the robotaxi is one of the products Tesla is counting on to ensure its long-term growth. In another post, Musk wrote: “Eventually, tens of millions of driverless Teslas will be driving around the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”

But Tesla’s biggest project is probably Optimus, its humanoid robot. The company developed it to perform repetitive or dangerous tasks. And the manufacturer could also turn Optimus into domestic robots. At the moment, it is not known when this robot will be finalized, but, in any case, the market for humanoid robots could experience exponential growth in a few years.

According to analysts at Goldman Sachs, this market could be worth 38 billion dollars in 2035. And Elon Musk, for his part, estimates that there could be more robots than humans on Earth in 2040.

  • According to Elon Musk, the logo is not necessary when you have a product that is special enough
  • Musk predicts that there will be tens of millions of Tesla robotaxis in circulation around the world
