For its new series of shows as part of its 12th season, the channel's team, led by Bruno Cormerais, Noëmie Honiat and chef Michel Sarran, is stopping off in the Gard all week. Among the candidates, we will therefore find the Cévennes bakery, run by Ophélie and Luc Mary, a young baker couple under 30. Initially based in Saint-Christol-Lez-Alès, where their first bakery is still open, the duo took the gamble of developing their business by opening a second bakery last July in Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas, chemin de Caragon, along the road to Nîmes. This particular store is the focus of the show.

The episode, already filmed, should particularly highlight a strawberry bread, created by the baker for his partner when she was pregnant, in order to play on this famous “desire for strawberries”, famous during pregnancy.

“The best bakery in France” is broadcast in episodes, from Monday to Friday at 6:35 p.m. The episode concerning Adell's bakery is scheduled for this Friday, January 10. During this first phase, the team will have to stand out from a rival bakery: Masa Mama's, located in downtown Nîmes.
