The tribute to the martyr of Zaragoza (Spain) will begin at 11 a.m. with a mass celebrated at the Saint-Jude church, in Faubourg. This will be followed by the customary drawing of lots for the statue of Saint Vincent, to find out which winery or estate will have the honor of keeping the object of all desires until the next edition.

A pass to taste three glasses

The day will continue at the Zinga Zanga village hall, with a producers' market, which will last from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and where ten stands, three wineries and six estates will be present (read below). They will offer their wines for tasting and sale in bottles in the usual format: you pay 5 euros for entry, with this pass you get a free glass valid for three tastings of your choice from the producers.

For meals, there will be many food trucks (oysters, tapas, cheeses and pastries) as well as a meal served by a caterer, by reservation. After lunch, from 1 p.m., the “Chichoul’âne vendroise” will offer its traditional donkey rides and, for children, many inflatable games will be available.

Finally, from 5 p.m., the musical entertainment will begin with the Bandas Pena, Non Stop, Kompas Allegre and then a DJ who will take care of the dance floor until 1 a.m.

“This year, we are going to have quality”

New co-president of the IGP coteaux-de-Béziers union on the side by Pierre Calmel, Sylvie Recoules acknowledges that Béziers winegrowers are affected by the current situation: “&Obviously, we have all been victims of the drought and we have lost sales in all the cellars." Before qualifying, to end on a positive note: "We are trying to do our best, we had a harvest roughly equivalent to that of last year. This year, we are going to have quality, we are going to try to do something nice.”

The wineries participating in the event: Les Vignerons de Sérignan, Alma Cersius and Terroir En Garrigues.

The estates: Mi-Côte, Émile et Rose, Les Graviers, Pierre Belle, Chamboredon and Médeilhan.
