With one click, this option on WhatsApp allowed me to find all the messages deleted by a person

Spread the love

It is still possible to recover deleted messages on WhatsApp, but only on certain devices.

Who has never experienced such a situation: while you were about to read the message from your crush or someone you are close to, it was impossible to access it. It was simply deleted! Curiosity is a nasty flaw, but you absolutely have to know what this message was before it was removed by your interlocutor. Well, know that it is possible to some conditions.

First of all, you will need to have an Android smartphone that has recent updates. Generally speaking, we recommend that you regularly update your device in order to benefit from the latest features invented by the manufacturer of your phone.

Then go to your smartphone's settings. You can access it by pulling down your notifications panel and tapping the little gear icon or directly by looking in your apps and tapping the “settings” icon.

Then scroll down through the different options to find the part that interests us and which is called, as you might guess, “notifications”. There you will find all sorts of settings and features that can be very useful for customizing your experience. But what interests us today is called “notification history”. You will then need to enable this option.

Notification history allows you to find all the notifications received on your phone. So, if one of your WhatsApp contacts ends up deleting their message, you can still find it in the notification history that will have stored it before it was deleted. Be careful, however, not to click on the said notification since it will open your WhatsApp application, but you will obviously not find the deleted message in question there.
