With the Alice-Milliat and Pierre-Garsau Trophies, the Coupe de France arrives in Montpellier for three days

The French Swimming Federation (FFN) really loves Montpellier and the Angelotti Olympic swimming pool, one of the most beautiful aquatic centers in the country. After organizing the French short course championships and before the national long course swimming event in June, the Montpellier pool was chosen to host the Alice-Milliat Trophy and the Pierre Garsau Trophy, the equivalent of the French women's and men's water polo cups. “It's an honor that the federation asked us to organize this competition with 14 teams,” rejoices the president of Montpellier Water-polo, which is hosting the event for three days.

From Friday to Sunday, the six best teams in the French women's championship and the eight men's will compete for the two titles at stake. “The public will see the best French teams in action, international-level players, continues the manager. On Friday, the stands will be filled with children from Montpellier schools who will see a show and a sport that deserves to be known.”

Christophe Spilliaert: “We must not lose”

If the Pierre-Garsau trophy is promised to Marseille, multiple title holders and the Alice-Milliat trophy should be contested between Lille and Bordeaux, there will be a show from the quarter-finals planned.
