Every year, the release of the Redmi range Note is a watershed moment for people with a limited budget to spend on smartphones, but still want to enjoy a great experience.

Xiaomi has presented us with the new Redmi Note 13, which comes in in version 13, Pro, and Pro+ in order to offer even more features from high-end smartphones, for an unbeatable price.

The least we can say is that this new range of Redmi is more than complete. Prices ranging from 199 to 469 euros with 4 and 5G versions, with no less than 5 variations. The program includes the Redmi Note 13, its 5G version, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, its 5G version Redmi Note 13 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G.

A desire on the part of Xiaomi to offer 4G versions for people with a limited budget, and who do not have a plan compatible with the fastest network anyway. They will be respectively at a price of 199, 299, 349, 399 and 469 euros in their 6 GB RAM versions for the Note 13, and 8 GB for all the others. If this multiplication of models could lose some, the demarcations between all are rather clear concerning their technical sheets.

If there is anything we could fault the Redmi Note range for, it is their durability, both hardware and software. This time, the Redmis are getting equipped and Xiaomi now offers 4 years of security patches, but also a more rigid design. We are thinking in particular of the Pro and Pro+ which are equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus, the Pro+ having also been reinforced in its 4 corners in its frame, also offering shock-absorbing polymer joints.

The 13 and Pro versions have IP54 dust and water certification, while the Pro+ offers IP68. In hand, they gave us a more solid impression than the old Redmi ranges, especially with regard to the Pro+ version.

This is the point that immediately seduced us the most regarding the smartphones in the Redmi Note 13 range, especially in its Pro+ version. While the 13 has a 33W charge, the 13 Pro has a 67W charge allowing it to be charged in just 44 minutes.

But the most impressive of the range remains of course the Pro+, with an ultra-fast 120W charge, allowing you to go from 0 to 100% in just 19 minutes. Exceptional for the absent-minded who find themselves without battery a few minutes before starting their day outside. Extremely practical compared to the high-end of other brands which tend to offer increasingly slower charges for several years.

We will also add that the chargers compatible with these respective speeds are present in the box when purchasing the smartphone. This turns out to be very practical in order to be able to truly benefit from the fastest possible charge.

While Xiaomi has admitted to us that it does not necessarily put the emphasis on photography when it comes to the Redmi Note, the fact remains that that the Note 13 lineup still seems to be doing pretty well. Within the constraints of the time allotted and the well-lit indoor environment of the event, we ran some photo tests with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

The brand's promise here, offer a x4 zoom without loss of quality, thanks to its 200MP photo lens. While we'll have to wait for our full test to have our definitive opinion on the matter, the handling carried out here was rather promising in its results.

In short, there is a good chance that, this year again, the Redmi Note range will offer excellent value for money. The Redmi Note 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ will be available online from January 18.
