The electric car brand is once again shaking up the codes of the automobile industry in France. No more restrictive appointments and sales consultants who accompany you during the test drive. Make way for a fully digitalized experience where the customer becomes the master of their time and experience.

A customer experience redesigned from A to Z

Tesla's new generation test drive focuses on simplicity and autonomy. Customers can now book their slot online and access the vehicle via the Tesla app, without the need to physically interact with an advisor. This revolutionary approach allows potential buyers to discover Tesla vehicles in real-life usage conditions, without commercial pressure.

Reservations can be made in just a few clicks on the Tesla website. The manufacturer has thought of everything: customers receive detailed instructions by email before their test drive. The mobile application becomes the master key to this experience. It not only allows you to locate it in the parking lot, unlock the vehicle, but also to make it honk to spot it more easily.

Well-defined access criteria

Tesla has not neglected the security aspect in this new system. To access the test drive, drivers must meet specific criteria. You must have at least three years of driving license behind you to test the Model 3 and Model Y. Only the registered driver can take the wheel, even if passengers are allowed on board.

A complete immersion in the Tesla ecosystem

The test drive lasts 30 minutes and goes well beyond a simple drive around the block. Tesla encourages drivers to test the Supercharger network during their test drive. An interactive presentation on the touchscreen guides users through the vehicle's various features. If you have any questions, an advisor can be reached by phone via the app. This allows drivers to test the car as they wish, without the constraint of having a salesperson spying on their every move.

This self-service test drive system is not yet available in all Tesla centers. Sites offering this option are clearly identified by the words “Self-service test drive” or “Remote Test”. You can book a test drive here by checking if the service is near you.
