Here is a habit firmly anchored in our minds: the good resolutions accompanying the new year. Stop spending four hours a day on Instagram, eat a healthier diet, take control of your sleep, drink less alcohol or engage in more regular physical activity.

It is precisely on this last point that a well-used Apple Watch proves to be a fairly effective ally.

A personal coach on your wrist

To achieve personal sports goals, you have to start small so as not to get discouraged or worse, get injured. The Apple Watch Series 10 offers this tried and tested method: start small.

It can help you lose 320 calories a day with 30 minutes of daily exercise while forcing you to get up at least 12 times a day, or once an hour. Enough to gradually create gentle training routines so that they become habits.

For the more seasoned, the latest version of watchOS 11 will help you track the progress of your efforts. With Training Load, the watch will analyze them over seven days compared to the past month. Apple Fitness+ also offers thousands of different exercises to view on your watch; in 4K please; viewable on all your other devices too: iPhone, iPad, and even Apple TV.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000

If you sleep with your watch, the Vitals app is a great complement. This one scans your sleep to determine if you're ready to lace up your sneakers for your daily workout. It takes into account a multitude of factors – altitude, alcohol consumption, health – to provide you with ultra-personalized recommendations.

If you prefer walking, the Time to Walk feature is for you. It lets you go for a walk while listening to inspiring stories told by well-known and influential personalities. However, you will need an Apple Fitness+ subscription to take advantage of this feature that is perfectly in the Apple spirit.

To highlight all these features, Apple has split a small video, published yesterday on YouTube called “Quit Quitting” (literally “stop quitting’). Of course, the& ;#8217;Apple Watch Series 10 won't turn you into Usain Bolt once you put it on your wrist, but it will have the merit of accompanying you more than adequately in your workouts .

  • Apple Watch can help you reach your fitness goals with personalized programs that work at your own pace.
  • The step-by-step approach of the programs offered helps create healthy routines over the long term.
  • It can also monitor your sleep and accompany you on your daily walks with the Apple Fitness+ subscription.
