Yvonne Blanc, Laurent Blanc's mother, dies near Alès at the age of 93

The mother of the 1998 world champion and former coach of the Blues passed away this week near Alès.

Yvonne Blanc had not left the Alès basin, the land that nourished her children, including her son, Laurent Blanc, known as one of the 1998 world champions and then for his great sporting career, as a defender then coach, and his position as coach of the Blues.

The mother of the Alès sportsman died this week at the age of 93.

His funeral will take place on Thursday, January 9 at the Saint-Michel church in Rousson, followed by burial in the village cemetery.
