It is increasingly difficult to find a recent smartphone with a headphone jack. In fact, the industry is gradually abandoning this type of connector, in favor of USB-C headphones or Bluetooth headphones. To defy this trend, the Chinese brand ZTE took advantage of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to present a new smartphone which, instead of having a single jack, has two!
This is Nubia Music which, as its name suggests, is designed for listening to music on a smartphone. The dual jack port recalls the days when some people used adapters to connect two headphones to a phone or MP3 player, in order to listen to music together. And, next to the camera, on the back, ZTE has also placed a very visible speaker, the design of which recalls the era of vinyl records.

And, a priori, this smartphone can also replace mini Bluetooth speakers. Indeed, thanks to AI, the speaker would be able to produce a sound volume 600% higher, compared to conventional smartphones. Finally, ZTE has also developed a feature that allows you to have a lighting effect around the screen to accompany music playback.
Unfortunately, ZTE has not yet shared the other details of the spec sheet. We know that the screen has a diagonal of 6.6 inches, HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The 50 megapixel camera has two sensors. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, and the RAM memory is 8 GB. It is not known which processor is used. But we know that this smartphone will be mid-range. Indeed, ZTE indicates that the Nubia Music has a starting price of 149 dollars. On the other hand, we do not know when it will be available in Europe.
Otherwise, ZTE also took advantage of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to launch a real price war on the folding smartphone market. The Chinese manufacturer has lifted the veil on the Nubia Flip 5G, a Galaxy Z Flip-style folding flip smartphone, whose starting price is announced at $599.

The device has a 6.9-inch screen, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It has two sensors on the back (including a 50-megapixel main sensor). And under the hood, there's a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, a Qualcomm component designed for mid-range smartphones.
