A 16-year-old girl traveling on an electric scooter was struck by a vehicle on Sunday afternoon in the Villeray—Saint-Michel—Parc-Extension borough, in Montreal.
According to the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM), the teenager, who suffered serious injuries, was transported to a hospital center , but his life is out of danger.
The accident occurred around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Drolet and Jarry streets, while he 48-year-old man driving a sport utility vehicle hit the teenage girl.
He suffered no injuries and was not taken to a hospital.
