A man in his twenties was found dead late Wednesday afternoon in an apartment in the Lachine borough. His death was noted on site.

The SPVM went to a home on rue Duranceau, near rue des Érables, after a call received at 5:30 p.m.

On site, ambulance technicians from Urgences-santé and police officers found an inanimate man. They were able to observe possible injuries to the upper body, reports the SPVM, which confirms that a complete analysis is forthcoming.

The cause death remains unknown. A security perimeter was installed and the police department questioned citizens in order to shed light on the event. The SPVM also hopes to be able to find surveillance camera recordings.
