A man in his thirties was violently attacked early Saturday morning in a residence in Thetford Mines, in Chaudière-Appalaches. According to the Sûreté du Québec, “everything suggests”, that the event is linked to the conflict which is shaking the underworld in eastern Quebec.

The crime allegedly occurred around 3:30 a.m. in a residence on rue Saint-Nazaire.

A man was reportedly beaten by one or more attackers, who then fled.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of his significant injuries. However, we would not fear for our lives.

The Sûreté du Québec has opened an investigation. No one has been arrested yet in this case.

This crime occurs while the Sûreté du Québec has deployed hundreds of police officers in the regions of Quebec and Saguenay in an attempt to stem the conflict between Hells Angels criminal bikers and drug traffickers.< /p>LoadingNew Canadian aid to Ukraine of $2.7 billion
