Casino supermarkets are disappearing, this is what the store near you will become

Casino, in great difficulty, was disappointed; sell off 288 stores Intermarché, Carrefour and Auchan. So what will become of the Casino near you?

The Casino brand is in bad shape. A backup plan is being studied to prevent the supermarket chain from finding itself in the wrong place. in a &e;catastrophic economic situation", as recalled' the commissioner judge on February 12, during a hearing on the subject, according to Sud-Ouest. This is Intermarché which collects the most signs (190). This represents 374 596 m² of sales area, i.e. 10% of Intermarché's current fleet. and Netto. It is strengthening, especially in the Center-East region (56 stores), in the South-East (53), in the Paris region (29) and even in Bouches- du-Rhône (19) according to LSA. Four stores were also closed. resumed à Paris and seven à Lyon. Intermarché in particular does a good deal with the Casino of Aix-en-Provence and Antibes whose turnover per square meter is high. is greater than 10,000 euros. For its part, Auchan boughté 98 stores. The brand is recovering beautiful surfaces, particularly in the Marseille with the Casino de la Valentine of 14,100 m². 343,852 m² of sales area have been é purchased in total, this represents 19.4% of Auchan's current portfolio.
