The Canadian Press Two snowmobilers lost their lives Sunday evening after their vehicle collided with a car in the Lanaudière region. The victims are a man aged 35 years old and a 34-year-old woman, who resided in Saint-Lin-Laurentides. According to the Sûreté du Québec ( SQ), the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 125 and Rue Turcotte, in Saint-Esprit. The snowmobile was crossing the road at an authorized location when the car hit it. Both victims were transported to hospital in critical condition. Their death was later pronounced. As for the driver of the car, he was not injured, but he was still taken to hospital as a precaution. The SQ does not believe that criminal behavior was involved in this tragedy.
