However, for several reasons that we will discuss in this test, it is also a good idea to equip yourself with a floor cleaner in the form of a broom like the Dreame H13 Pro that we tested.

In the form of a broom, the H13 Pro is a device for vacuuming dust and cleaning floors with water jointly. With this one, long gone are the days of using the heavy trolley vacuum cleaner to drag around and then mopping.
Here, everything is done in a single pass, with a rotating roller. Equipped with a dirty water and dust collector as well as a clean water tank, the machine works wirelessly for greater convenience. Simply place it on its base once cleaning is finished, in order to recharge it.
As you will have understood, this type of device is therefore used to clean the floors in a much more practical way, while allowing things to be vacuumed from the floors that are not supposed to be, such as liquids, or small foodstuffs for example.
Having little difference in terms of its design, the H13 Pro still has some distinctive elements compared to its big brother. Here, we will find a screen at the top of the central body of the H13 which will indicate the operating mode, the autonomy, and if the robot requires a filling of clean water, or an emptying of dirty water with the containers of respectively 900 and 700 ml.

In our testing, we noticed that it was possible to clean an area of approximately 130 m2 before the battery started to show signs of weakness, which represents 40 minutes of consecutive use, for a fairly long charging time of 4 hours all the same.

Of course, during this time you will have to recharge the clean water tank, to empty the dirty water tank. It also features a nifty design element called “edge to edge”, which as the name suggests, allows floors to be cleaned using the entire width of the roller, while the rest of the device does not obstruct the edges of it.
Its suction of 18 000 Pa does not leaves nothing on the ground, and the roller also does its job perfectly well. New this time, an LED strip lights up the front of the device to clearly see the dirt to be vacuumed.

Regarding its design, However, we will regret the fact of not being able to completely lay down the H13 Pro, which means that the underside of furniture will not be entirely accessible to it, for example. Too bad.
A function to counterbalance its 5.6 kg called GlideWheel also allows it to gain traction by automatically rolling forward and backward depending on the direction given to the H13 Pro.
Only, in certain cases where you want to replace the vacuum cleaner, this complicates the maneuver, and it would have been useful for Dreame to offer a button allowing you to pause the function.

The H12 also had a rather practical base which allowed the roller of the device after cleaning the floors. This time, the H13 Pro goes even further with automatic cleaning with water heated to 60°C.
Then, the brush will dry for 30 minutes, in order to eliminate any risk of bad odor, but also to allow bacteria to proliferate. An excellent idea which makes it necessary to put less “hands in the dirt” we might say. On the other hand, you will always have to empty the dirty water in the tank, and for that, the Dreame system is very impractical.

To prevent dirty water from flowing out of the tank, a rubber seal is placed on it. Therefore, you will have to pull strongly on the cover to separate it from the rest in order to empty the dirt tank as well as the water tank. A tedious operation for which the risk of spilling the dirty water in question is rather present.
Although it is not necessarily essential for people who already have a robot vacuum cleaner, we will still explain the reason why we found that the H13 Pro was an excellent complementary device, which can sometimes also stand on its own.
People who have a robot vacuum with a mop that just hangs around will definitely not be satisfied with the cleaning offered by it. Here, the H13 Pro allows you to vacuum and wash hard floors with great efficiency, thus removing stains and other liquids that could not be cleaned by a robot vacuum cleaner.
Another point is that, without necessarily being able to put my finger on the reasons why and how, some people prefer manual action. Something I have already noticed in my own family, who sometimes have the impression that cleaning is not done well if it is not entirely done by human hands. Thus, a vacuum cleaner like the H13 is an excellent compromise for manual cleaning, but with all the advantages of easy and effective cleaning.
Next, one thing that struck me while using the H13 Pro was the cleaning speed that the device can offer. Where a robot vacuum takes on average 50 minutes to clean my downstairs, it took me no more than 10 minutes to clean the same area using the H13 Pro. Thus, people pressed for time will favor its use. It will be all the more recommended if you are used to keeping your shoes in your home while having a garden for example.
Of course, the last point concerns the accessibility of areas which are not necessarily accessible by a robot vacuum cleaner. Due to their diameter and round shape, robot vacuum cleaners will not always be able to reach all the places in your home. So, It is possible to reach additional surfaces with the H13 Pro, such as a space between two rectangular pieces of furniture for example. In this way, this type of washer is a good complement to already having a robot vacuum cleaner.

The H13 Pro is an excellent vacuum cleaner scrubber which obviously saves a lot of time on washing floors, while offering certain practicality. With enough autonomy to wash an entire 130 m2 house, it is the ideal ally for everyday hassles, offering new features allowing in particular to thoroughly clean its roller with hot water.
It is not necessarily without fault in the sense that we will regret, for example, the impossibility of tilting it completely and therefore of accessing the underside of furniture. In return, “edge to edge” offers the possibility of reaching places that are unreachable with a robot vacuum cleaner.
Definitely suitable for people who like to take care of their floor manually, the biggest criticism we can make of it is ultimately its price, it was 200 euros more expensive than its predecessor this year.
