Driver caught at 190 km/h in 70 km/h zone in Montreal

Police intercepted a motorist driving 190 at 4 a.m. Wednesday km/h on Autoroute 15 in Montreal, where the speed limit is 70 km/h.

The 27-year-old man was intercepted heading north near Boulevard Édouard-Monpetit, specified in a press release from the Sûreté du Québec.

The driver received a ticket for $2155 with 24 demerit points. His driving license was suspended for a period of seven days, we read in the statement from the police force.
