A man was killed and another seriously injured on the night of March 21 to 22, 2024 at the O'Gascon bar in Terrebonne.

One man died and another was seriously injured during the night from Thursday to Friday following an altercation between several people inside the O'Gascon bar in Terrebonne. The identities of the victims have not been released. No suspect has been arrested.

Little information has filtered until now on the circumstances of the fight which took place around 2:30 a.m. Several people who were present left the scene, according to Audrey-Anne Bilodeau, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.

The Sûreté du Québec has launched a call for witnesses: anyone who was in the establishment shortly before the closure is asked to contact the Sûreté du Québec criminal information center by calling 1 800 659-4264. The line operates 24 hours a day. Witnesses may remain anonymous if they so request.

The investigation is the responsibility investigators of crimes against the person from the Sûreté du Québec. The Sûreté du Québec command post and forensic identification were dispatched to the site Friday morning to continue the investigation.
