Fatal fire in a L&eac;vis garage

The fire broke out in the evening on Friday in a garage located in Lévis.

One ​​person lost life Friday evening in the fire of a commercial building located on rue du Réservoir in Lévis.

The fire broke out around 9:30 p.m. in a commercial garage located in the Saint-Étienne-de-Lauzon area. The flames seriously damaged the building which also served as a storage location.

According to our information, a person who was inside died in the blaze.

The Lévis City Police Department (SPVL) was not able to reveal the age or sex of the victim.

The fire was brought under control a little later during the night according to SPVL sergeant, Maxime Bouchard.

He adds that an investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances of this event.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
