A fifth Canadian was killed during the conflict between Israel and Hamas Hamas, said Global Affairs Canada, during a technical briefing in Ottawa on Sunday.
“Since our last technical briefing on Friday, the death of a missing Canadian has unfortunately been confirmed. We also had confirmation of another death. “As a result, Global Affairs Canada has learned of the deaths of five Canadians,” officials said.
They also stressed monitoring the situation regarding three Canadians who are missing.
