This is the nice surprise of this Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the day after Google I/O 2024: Google is launching in France (and more widely throughout Europe) a new Google One subscription AI Premium which gives access to the latest Gemini Advanced models including the all-new Gemini 1.5 Pro – both in a prompt space in the style of ChatGPT, but also in the form of integrations into all Google cloud applications including Gmail and the Google Drive suite.
The first surprise was that Google suggested that these models would initially be reserved for Workspace subscribers (professionals), the subscription is open to all current Google One subscribers. In fact, Google is creating a new Google One subscription from scratch, with, among other things, 2 TB of online storage, Gemini Advanced and various other benefits.
