A man was thrown from a vehicle during of a collision in Ottawa

A 32-year-old man is in critical condition after being ejected from a vehicle during a head-on collision Saturday evening.

According to the Ottawa Paramedic Service, the man who was rushed to a hospital suffers from injuries who cause fear for his life.

In a press release released Sunday morning, the Ottawa Police Service indicates that it received a call around 6 p.m. Saturday regarding a collision near the intersection of Bank Street and Parkway Road.

A section of Bank Street in the area was closed for several hours following the collision. It is now reopened to traffic.

Police are asking witnesses and anyone who may have images of the event to contact her.
