According to the synopsis proposed by Unifrance:

Matryoshka dolls are Russian dolls that fit inside each other. Each doll hides another. Anna is a pretty 24-year-old woman, but who is she really and how many women are hidden inside her ? Is she a simple doll seller on the Moscow market ? A top model who parades in Paris ? A killer who bloodies Milan ? A corrupt cop ? A double agent ? Or simply a formidable chess player ? We will have to wait until the end of the game to find out who Anna really is and who is “checkmate”.

This thriller by Luc Besson is certainly not perfect, but it is nonetheless a very entertaining and gripping film that will keep you on the edge of your seat. breath for 2h15.

The Man Who Knew Too Much (Arte, 9pm)

Here we have one of the great classics of the seventh art signed by Alfred Hitchcock. Doctor McKenna goes on vacation to Morocco with his wife and son. He then meets a Frenchman who is murdered in front of him the next day.

Things get even worse for the couple a few days later when their son is kidnapped. This is the beginning of an investigation that will reveal big surprises. You have to see this gem, especially for the excellent performance of the duo made up of James Stewart and Doris Day.

Wizards Kingdom (TF1 Séries Films, 22h55)

This is an ideal film to feel the Christmas atmosphere. We follow the adventures of Masha, a young woman who faces surprising visions. Suddenly, while she is in the center of Moscow, she finds herself in the middle of a confrontation between monsters and young magicians.

Here she is, embarked in a society populated by young magicians with an extraordinary leader: Santa Claus. We'll let you discover the rest of this family adventure film.

That's all for this week. Note, if these three films are not to your taste, that there will be other feature films this Sunday evening on TNT, including La goûter (France 2, 9:10 p.m.), Champagne! (W9, 9:10 p.m.), and Les voyageurs en Amérique (TFX, 9:05 p.m.). You can also catch up on last week's gems in replay by rereading our previous article here.
