Two men aged 22 and 38 and a 37 year old woman were arrested in connection with the events that occurred in Saint-Malachie, in Chaudière-Appalaches, Monday.

The charges against the three people will be filed in the coming hours, says the communications coordinator at the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), Benoît Richard.

The latter does not come forward to say whether the three people are associated with the Blood Family Mafia group (BFM), in conflict with the Hells Angels in the greater Quebec region.

At the same time as these arrests, police searches are still underway in Montmagny, in a home on the Trans-Comté road. They are also believed to be linked to tensions between independent drug dealers and the motorcycle club. On Monday, a 29-year-old man died of criminal causes and three other people, aged 21 to 51, were injured in Saint-Malachie.
