The Office has left its mark on several generations of spectators. Since the end of its broadcast, it continues to be viewed by many spectators and even constitutes a sort of Madeleine de Proust for some of them.
However, the announcement in 2023 of a reboot of the series has disconcerted and shocked fans. We have had no news since, but this subject has just been addressed by Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey (Pam Beesly and Angela Martin in The Office).< /p>

In the podcast < em>Office Ladiesthat they host, the actresses recently received Bryan Cranston, the star of Malcolm and Breaking Bad. The latter took the opportunity to ask them if they would agree to resume their role:
Let's say there's no reboot series, but what if there was a movie? Something that allows us to see where these people are. These people in the entire cast that interest us. We wondered at the end, where did they go ? What happened to them ?
Response from Jenna Fischer : « As long as Greg (Daniels, the creator of The Office Editor's note) writes it and he is responsible for it , so I say yes”.
Same story with Angela Kinsey: < em>“I would do it for my kids because I think they would find it fun”.
Bryan Cranston took the opportunity to join the cast of this hypothetical project:
I just want to be an extra. I would be a guy. I'd be a school monitor or something. Just something.
Jim Halpert back ?
Other actors have taken a stand in the past on the idea of a comeback in the series. This is the case of John Krasinski (Jim Halpert) who already said in February 2020 that he would not hesitate to return to his role if it was offered to him: “ The Office was absolutely everything to me…I'm pretty sure that at the end of my career, I'll always be known for Jim. It was my first experience with Hollywood. It was the first creative family I ever had.”.
So we'll wait to hear more about the way The Office will be revived. The former members of the cast do not seem hostile to the idea of returning to their character.
