Two dead, one woman injured in Toronto shooting

Two men died and a woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in Toronto, according to police.

Emergency responders received the call about the shooting around 1:30 p.m.

The death of one of the victims was noted on the scene; the other man died at the hospital.

The woman suffered injuries that do not endanger his life, according to the Toronto police.

A man was arrested and a weapon was seized.

The police specify that two of their officers were injured during the foot chase. They were taken to hospital, but are not in critical condition.

The Dundas Street East is closed between Sackville and Parliament while the Homicide Squad conducts its investigation.
