Radio-Canada The victim, who is an influential member of organized crime, according to our information, was found in a car in a parking lot near the intersection of Boulevard des Seigneurs and Rue Vaillant. According to police, patrol officers from the Terrebonne Police Department were dispatched to a commercial parking lot around 9:30 p.m. Monday evening to respond to a call regarding a seriously injured man. On site, officers discovered the body of the individual in a car. The victim was immediately transported to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead shortly after. Citizens reported hearing gunshots in the area where the victim was located, around the same time. The Sûreté du Québec, which took responsibility for the investigation, is stingy with comments on the identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding the murder. We know, however, that two other scenes possibly linked to the crime have been identified, notably one, still in Terrebonne, where a burned vehicle was found shortly after the murder. Firefighters had to intervene to put out the blaze. There are other scenes which are being analyzed by investigators. We are trying to determine the link between all these events and these different locations, confirmed agent Camille Savoie of the Sûreté du Québec. This morning, a perimeter was maintained by investigators from the Sûreté du Québec and the Terrebonne police at the intersection of rue Vaillant and boulevard des Seigneurs. A command post was also dispatched to the scene to support the work of investigators and forensic identification technicians.
