Danny Sanders, a teacher from Valcourt, was arrested Wednesday for sexual offenses. The 47-year-old man appeared Thursday morning at the Sherbrooke courthouse. He faces two counts of sexual assault and sexual interference of a person under the age of 16. The man works at the Sommets School Service Center, which also indicated in a press release that the teacher in question was suspended from his duties following events that occurred between a member of the staff of a school from the Sommets School Service Center and a student.
