The RCMP is investigating a road accident in Memramcook.

A 17-year-old boy died following a road accident in Memramcook on the night of Thursday to Friday.

On Friday at 1:20 a.m., the Sackville RCMP detachment, the Memramcook Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to an emergency call following a road accident.

< p class="StyledBodyHtmlParagraph-sc-48221190-4 hNZoeU">According to police, the passenger in the vehicle, a 17-year-old from Moncton, died at the scene from his injuries.

< p class="StyledBodyHtmlParagraph-sc-48221190-4 hNZoeU">The accident reportedly occurred after the driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the ditch.

RCMP believe another vehicle may have been involved in this incident.

She is asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact her.

Law enforcement is particularly looking for images from dashboard cameras of anyone who was in the area of ​​Route 106 in Memramcook between Thursday 9:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. , Friday, September 29.

Citizens of Saint-Thomas and Grand Pré streets and those living on route 106, between the intersections of Saint -Thomas and Anderson Mill Road in Upper Dorchester are also asked to contact the RCMP at 506-364-5023 if they have any information regarding the accident.
