The Apple Vision Pro could arrive in mainland France and the rest of the world in a short time. We therefore believe that the release date could be confirmed by its manufacturer before the Worldwide Developer Conference. However, a keynote is being organized on May 7, during which we should also be able to discover new Apple tablets. As WWDC will take place from June 10, we believe that next month's event is the ideal time for the Vision Pro deployment schedule to be revealed by Cupertino. The company had already launched the device in the United States last January (date of pre-orders).
Tim Cook has also already confirmed that the Apple Vision Pro will be released in China in 2024. It is therefore a safe bet that the mixed reality headset will also see the light of day in the rest of the world, including in France, the same year. Several analysts assume this, starting with the very serious Ming-Chi Kuo, closely followed by investors who bet on AAPL stock on the Wall Street stock exchange. The Apple company is worth nearly three thousand billion dollars. Some researchers even believe that in the long term, the “mixed reality” of the company could weigh almost a sixth of this sum. But this is yet another subject, which we will not address here.
Beware of stock shortages
In the United States, the Vision Pro became available on February 2. But in reality, some had to wait much longer to obtain the virtual reality headset, even though pre-orders had opened about a dozen days earlier. And for good reason: The manufacturer would not have anticipated such success for its new product. As of the date of pre-orders, nearly 80,000 people have chosen to treat themselves to the device. Today, we are talking about nearly 200,000 orders already placed. Even before the launch was revealed for the European continent, however.
This remarkable success therefore quickly exhausted the stocks that Apple had originally planned, the company not having estimated to sell as many Vision Pros. And we could be victims of a similar event in France and the rest of the world. Be careful, however, because recent estimates, also by Ming-Chi Kuo, assume that the frame would ultimately only be sold in approximately 400,000 units, in 2024. According to calculations made by Apple, this is half as much as expected, but these figures have not been confirmed by the company.
Many apps from launch
The Apple Vision Pro is launched with many apps that are also found on Mac. This is particularly the case for Pages, Keynote or Messages. The developer wants to make it a real tool intended to replace your workstation, for example when traveling. But you'll have to pay a price: count on nearly 4,000 euros for the expected price in Europe.
The second major release of visionOS, the operating system for Apple Vision Pro, is expected to be released at the Worldwide Developer Conference. We do not yet know the new features that the publisher will present for the occasion, except that a possible Apple Pencil 3 could be compatible with the virtual reality headset .
