The Osmo Pocket 3 has been available for sale since October 25, 2023 on the official DJI website and from authorized resellers. Its price is €539 for the standard version, which includes the Osmo Pocket 3, a USB-C to USB-C PD cable, an Osmo Pocket 3 protective cover, a DJI wrist strap and an Osmo Pocket 3 handle with a 1/4” thread.

The Osmo Pocket 3 therefore has a fairly powerful integrated battery, which allows it to record up to almost two hours in Full HD or almost an hour and a half in 4K. Charging time is also fast, thanks to the included PD USB-C cable.

The Osmo Pocket 3 brings several new features compared to its predecessor, the Osmo Pocket 2. The most important is undoubtedly the 1″ CMOS sensor, which offers better image quality, greater depth of field and better sensitivity in low light. The sensor on the Osmo Pocket 2 was 1/1.7″, which is already very good for a camera of this size, but the sensor was 1/1.7″. allows you to obtain even more impressive results. For example, the maximum photo resolution increases from 16 to 20 megapixels, and slow motion mode can reach 120 frames per second in 4K, compared to 60 frames per second in 4K for the Osmo Pocket 2.
The other major new feature is the 2' rotatable touch screen, which allows you to easily switch between horizontal and vertical mode. This provides more flexibility to adapt to different broadcast formats on social networks, such as Instagram or TikTok. The touchscreen also allows you to control the camera and access settings without the need for a smartphone. The Osmo Pocket 2 had a fixed 1.08” touchscreen, which is more limited in terms of functionality and readability.
A new stereo recording system appears. Finally, the Osmo Pocket 3 offers a multitude of intelligent functions, which rely on three-axis mechanical stabilization and artificial intelligence. Among these functions, we can cite ActiveTrack 6.0 tracking, which allows you to automatically follow a moving subject or object. There is also dynamic framing, which adjusts the composition of the image based on the number and position of people.

The Osmo Pocket 3 retains the compact and sleek design of the Osmo Pocket 2, with a few minor changes. The camera measures 124 x 38 x 30 mm and weighs 117 g, making it easy to carry and store in a pocket or bag.
