How to completely clear history in all browsers

It's no secret that your browser logs every site you visit, every search you perform and even the passwords you enter, if you don't go through a third-party password manager.

This data, although useful for quickly finding a site or automatically filling out a form, can also represent a risk for your privacy.By exfiltrating them and cross-referencing them with other metadata, a malicious actor can deduce, for example, your personal political preferences.

This is notably what led online advertising and its excesses to their golden age, then to their decline. All against a backdrop of manipulation, abuse of dominant position, data leaks and resounding scandals, including Cambridge Analytica on Facebook.

The data in your history can be sucked up by spyware and subsequently allow malicious people to better target you during a phishing attempt, for example. And of course, browser history can betray visits that you prefer to keep to yourself. Follow our gaze towards the sites prohibited to those under 18 (we promise, we won't say anything!).
