Two teenagers aged 12 and 13 were arrested Wednesday in connection with the death of a 12-year-old in Saskatoon. They face, among other things, charges of manslaughter.

In a press release published Wednesday, the Saskatoon Police Service mentions that the two teenagers are also charged with four counts related to weapons.

The police specify that they are currently in custody in addition to an adult, also arrested in connection with the homicide. No charges have yet been filed against the latter.

The police received a call around 3 a.m. Monday and went to near the intersection of Confederation Drive and West 33rd Street, where they found the victim “seriously injured.” The 12-year-old died once at the hospital.
