Where to find the $1800 off the Apple Vision Pro ?

© Apple

Many Apple Vision Pro models are listed for 25-35% off the original price. Several sites list these devices, including Swappa or eBay. The product has only been released in the United States at this time. In mainland France, however, you can find the headed mixed reality headset cheaper than usual, resold by individuals, notably on Leboncoin. Many people feel disappointed by the user experience, generally because they have not fully understood the value proposition of the frame. This is in fact primarily intended for professionals, an alternative dedicated to the general public being, it seems, planned by Apple for 2027.

The Apple Vision Pro is already particularly popular among businesses, with companies like KLM or Porsche having chosen it for their engineers. Which is also reminiscent of the success experienced by Google Glass in their heyday. Moreover, it turns out that Apple is also working on connected glasses. Tim Cook's group is indeed considering unveiling this type of wearable in the years to come, even if no sufficiently serious release date has yet reached us for the moment. Patents demonstrate, however, that the manufacturer already has numerous technologies ready to be integrated into lenses of this type, but this is not synonymous with imminent commercialization.

Other alternatives exist

We have to admit it, even with a price drop of more than $1000, the Apple Vision Pro remains difficult to access for everyone. The good news is that the seller offers payment in installments to any Apple Card holder. and this without interest. But you have to reside in the United States to be entitled to it, at least on paper. Otherwise, you should know that other alternatives allow you to work with your favorite apps and an infinite canvas, such as the Meta Quest Pro from the eponymous firm or the Xreal smartglasses.

Waiting another three years before discovering a new virtual reality headset from Apple is also not out of the question, for those who are less impatient. It is indeed assumed that the 2027 model will not only be more affordable, but also more comfortable. On the other hand, the device should prove less powerful – even if by then the generations of chips offered by the brand will have succeeded one another. News also seems to be on the way for the iPad Pro OLED scheduled for May 7. Indeed, the high-end tablet could be powered by the M4 processor. This would then be the first time that Cupertino has unveiled an Apple silicon motherboard for this format before it arrives on its personal computers.

L& #8217;Apple Vision Pro could arrive in France very soon

May 7 is the date on which Apple organizes its next keynote. During this event, associated with a trade fair for journalists in London, we are expecting the iPad Pro OLED but also two iPad Air. A 10.9-inch model and another 12.9-inch model.

For us, however, the star of this conference could be nothing less than the Apple Vision Pro. And for good reason: it is rumored that its release date for the European market could be announced during the Apple Event. However, Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo already explained that the deployment schedule for the rest of the world would be presented before the Worldwide Developer Conference, for its part scheduled for June. A very encouraging sign, given that this source has already been consistently correct in the past. With Mark Gurman, he is even one of the most reliable informants when it comes to guessing the future of the products of Tim Cook and his teams.

  • L’Apple Vision Pro is sometimes displayed with a 30 % reduction on certain sites
  • A new more affordable one is on the way for 2027
  • Cheaper mixed reality headsets exist
