It’s not uncommon that before going out with someone, we ask our friends’ opinions. And now, Tinder has an official feature that helps continue this tradition online. In a recent blog post, the dating app announces its new Matchmaker feature. Thanks to this you will be able to make your choices on the app taking into account the opinions of your friends. But if you’re looking for something casual, an independent escorts is the best option for you.

“For years, singles have asked their friends to help them find their next match on Tinder, and now we’re making it so easy with Tinder Matchmaker”says Melissa Hobley, director of marketing at Tinder. “Tinder Matchmaker brings your circle of trust into your love journey and helps you see the possibilities you might overlook from the perspective of your loved ones.”

Tinder Matchmaker: how does it work?

It all starts with an action by the user, who must generate a link from the app settings. Once this link is created, it can be shared with 15 friends. When friends open the link, they can log in to Tinder using their accounts or using the guest world. Then, on the Matchmaker interface, they can recommend profiles, but cannot interact with them.

Once the session has expired, after 24 hours, the user can see which profiles have been recommended by their friends. But he makes the final decision to give a like or not to the recommended profiles. The feature is available today in the following countries: United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom and Vietnam. And it will be available all over the world in the coming months.

An already common practice

In its announcement, Tinder explains that asking someone’s opinion on love life is already a common practice. The online dating service is based on a survey in which it questioned 2,500 people aged 18 to 25.

“Organizing a debriefing of their love life with friends is a centuries-old tradition, so much so that more than 75% of singles surveyed said they discuss their love life with friends several times a month,” says Tinder.

It remains to be seen what impact the opinion of friends will be able to have on the number and quality of matches obtained on the application.

  • This allows you to nominate friends who can recommend profiles to you on the app
  • But this is only a recommendation and the final decision is always yours< /li>
