Prime Video intends to start 2024 off on a high with the release of a brand new series. Entitled Expats, the streaming platform intends to put all the chances on its side so that its new series is a hit. Prime Video has just released the trailer for Expats and there's plenty to get excited about.

The trailer leaves a certain mystery surrounding the plot of Expats. Far from everything, Margaret nevertheless refuses to leave Hong Kong and fights to maintain the hope of finding her son. But Expatsis not just Margaret’s story. The series follows a group of expatriate women living in China. After having distinguished herself in numerous feature films, Nicole Kidman also shines on the small screen with Big Little Lies or Nine Perfect Strangers . Prime Video has left nothing to chance and Nicole Kidman is headlining Expats. She will be accompanied by Ji-young Yoo (The Sky is Everywhere), Sarayu Blue but also by Jack Hutson (Factory Girl< /em>) and Brian Tee (Chicago Fire).
Who directs Expats ?
Director Lulu Wang is at the helm of Expats. After giving us L'Adieu in 2019, for which she received the Independent Spirit Award for best film, the filmmaker is back with a series that has beautiful cards in hand to thrill Prime Video subscribers.
What release date for Expats ?
Expats will consist of six episodes, releasing two episodes per week starting January 26, 2024 on Prime Video.
