The month of December is traditionally the time to take stock of the current year. Google is no exception to this rule by revealing its top 10 searches for 2023. The opportunity to take an interest in the most popular films and series among Internet users around the world, but also in France.

Here to start with the top 10 worldwide series searches:

This ranking may be somewhat confusing, but it should be noted that a Google search does not constitute validation. A user may simply attempt to learn about a program before choosing whether or not to view it. We note the reign of American fiction, but also the remarkable arrival of South Korean dramas. We also note that the series Wednesday, which was broadcast at the end of 2022, continued to attract the attention of the public the following year.

Google specifies that this ranking is “based on the search terms that saw the biggest spike this year compared to the previous year”. Clearly, it in no way reflects the quality of the programs cited, but rather attention from the public.
