Product recall: This chicken sold throughout France should not be consumed

Consumer recall alert on chicken legs sold at Lidl which could be contaminated with Listéria.

The government site Rappel Conso has launched the alert this Thursday, March 28, on chicken legs sold in more than 50 Lidl stores spread across France. These products would be contaminated by Listeria. The product in question are “2 white Label Rouge free-range chicken legs 550g”, as specified in the Consumer Recall sheet. This product from the Etal du Poulier brand has been designed and manufactured by the brand Etal du Poulierer. marketed between March 8 and March 20, 2024. Reminder Conso has publishedé the list of stores concerned, mainly located in the west of France.

The recalled products can be identified by the following GTIN number:  20928865. The batches affected by this recall are those bearing the number é quot;5044092272". The expiration dates of the recalled products are displayed as March 17, 18 and 20, 2024. All have the health mark ; "FR 53.121.001 CE".  Rappel Conso indicates that these products may also have been sold in other brands. It is therefore advisable to carefully check the brand of the product and the list numbers. ;eacute;s above. Consumers in possession of this product can contact the number "0800900343" for more details. Affected customers will be able to obtain a refund. The recall process is ongoing until April 12, 2024. 

The government website indicates that the product should not be consumed and must be destroyed.
