Radio- Canada A Toronto police officer has been arrested and charged with assault, the police service announced Monday afternoon. According to the police, the agent, who was in his late fifties, had an argument with a woman. He then allegedly attacked her. The investigation began on October 1; the next day, the man was charged with assault. He will appear on November 24, in the afternoon. The police officer, who has 15 years of experience, was suspended with pay.
