Clearly, the fight against piracy is intensifying in France. Sites specializing in illegal streaming and downloading torrents of films and series are in fact subject to the wrath of rights holders who regularly obtain their closure. This is again what happened in mid-May with these two judgments from the Paris judicial court spotted by Numerama.

Suffice to say that among those accustomed to piracy , some names sound strangely familiar. Their troubles don’t end there. These portals are in fact identified and if they ever think of changing their address, the list can still be modified for a year and a half in order to prevent any circumvention of this blockage.
The fight against IPTV is also gaining ground
This case follows another major offensive against piracy in France, this time concerning the illegal broadcasting of sporting events. This week, we were talking about this victory of the French Tennis Federation (FFT) which requested and obtained the blocking of several streaming and IPTV sites which illegally broadcast tennis matches.
Here again, French ISPs are required to block the following portals within a fortnight: ivetv.sx, tennistream.com, crichd.com, sportshub.stream, viprow.nu, buffstream.sx, buffsports.me, batman-stream.live and jokerguide.com. The list extends to three IPTV platforms: bobres.net, iceflashott.com and king-iptv.org.
The FFT also played its tricks solidly by having illegal streaming of these services noted by a bailiff. To find out more, we invite you to reread our article here. What do you think of this increasingly aggressive and dynamic fight against piracy in France?? Tell us in the comments.
