For several years, we have been in the midst of a digital transformation. The health crisis caused by Covid-19 has drastically accelerated it. You probably know this very well if you work in IT or digital: everything is changing at full speed. So much so that it is sometimes difficult to keep up.

The rise of artificial intelligence is strengthening the transformation of professions specialized in digital technology. The Humanskills recruitment platform has taken an interest in this constantly evolving sector and affirms that several professions will see their average salaries undergo a sharp increase.

First of all, let us point out that it's about salaries if you change employers, not if you stay in your current company. The percentage increase indicated represents the average salary supplement in the event of recruitment in a new company.

So, if you are considering leaving your current position, it is in your best interest to consult this list of professions which will see their salaries jump in 2024. It may be a good time to apply elsewhere…

Salaries for these digital professions will increase significantly in 2024

New year, and why not new position and, above all, new remuneration ? Indeed, today, salary remains an extremely important element for employees. According to the study carried out by Humanskills, here are the 5 digital professions which should benefit from a salary increase of 10% on average in 2024:

  • Cloud engineer: +18% with an average gross annual salary between 55,000 and 80,000 euros depending on experience
  • Pentester (cybersecurity): +16% with an average gross annual salary between 45,000 and 80,000 euros depending on experience
  • SRE Engineer (site reliability): +15% with an average gross annual salary between 55,000 and 75,000 euros depending on experience
  • < li>AI expert: +13% with an average gross annual salary between 50,000 and 87,000 euros depending on experience

  • Business develop: +12% with an average gross annual salary between 50,000 and 80,000 euros depending on experience

The cloud, cybersecurity and, obviously, artificial intelligence are essential sectors at the moment, so much so that companies are forced to revise their salary scale upwards. But other professions should see a significant increase in their remuneration. The percentage is lower, but it is still not negligible. As a result, the professions of e-retail manager (+8%), data engineer (+7%), product manager (+6%), e-merchandiser (+6%), product owner (+2%) and product designer (+2%) are also affected by an increase in their remuneration from 2024.

This study accurately shows the realities of the job market as 2024 is already upon us. While artificial intelligence is booming, it is certain that the opportunities it promises are expected to multiply in the coming months. In 2024, AI will become more and more central to business development strategy.
