Apple has decided to carry out a gradual launch of its Vision Pro mixed reality headset. In fact, the new product is currently reserved for the American market, where the launch was successful. But the good news is that the Cupertino company is already thinking about offering this headset in other countries.

In recent weeks, indications have multiplied suggesting an international launch of the Vision Pro as early as 2024. And recently, in an interview in China, Apple boss Tim Cook confirmed that this international launch is indeed in the pipeline. According to a CNBC article, when asked by CCTV media if the Vision Pro will be available in China in 2024, Tim Cook said “yes”.

And for the France ?

The good news is that the latest clues suggest that Apple is also working on a launch of the Vision Pro headset in France . By digging into Apple's code, the MacRumors site discovered that the firm is already working on an adaptation of the visionOS keyboard for the following configurations:

  • Cantonese, traditional
  • Simplified Chinese
  • English (Australia)
  • English (Canada)
  • English (Japan)
  • English (Singapore)
  • English United Kingdom)
  • French (Canada)
  • France (France)
  • German
  • Japanese

Apple has a good reason to look to other markets

In any case, offering the Vision Pro in other countries would allow Apple to ensure long-term growth in its headset sales. Indeed, according to the explanations of analyst Ming Chi Kuo, after the very good start, which even caused a stock shortage, demand for the Vision Pro in the United States is stabilizing. And offering this new product in other countries would help boost sales, without having to touch prices.

As for the launch date, Kuo thinks that Apple should accelerate the international launch and start it before the WWDC conference in June. Moreover, recent job offers already suggest that Apple is looking for new employees whose role would be to support Vision Pro sales internationally.

  • During an Interview in China, Tim Cook confirms that the Vision Pro helmet will be available in the Middle Kingdom this year
  • Indications also suggest that France should also be affected by the international launch of the Vision Pro
  • At the moment, the headset is only officially available in the United States, but analyst Ming Chi Kuo thinks it will arrive in other countries before the WWDC developer conference in June
